I'm so lucky to have had friends still in my life that I have known since I was in pre-school. I know this is a very unusual, special situation. Most of us have known one another all our lives and been with one another through life's huge milestones. We went through the awkward years of junior high together, we were there for each other's first heartbreaks, speeding tickets and supported one another through it all. We graduated college together and now in adulthood we have seen each other get married and now have children. Now our children will grow up together, and will learn from us the true meaning of a life long friend. You all know who you are; those near and those far.

Some of us got together for an end of summer picnic. We all brought great dishes and played in the saturday sun. This was a day for the picture books and I can't wait for more events like this in the future.

What up Cuz???

Ryden was able to meet his Aunt Gina, Uncle Mark and cousins Paige and Evan a couple of weeks ago, even though I don't have proof we were all here together! How did I not get a picture of them! I'm so happy for Ryden that he has two great cousins to grow up with, even though they live to far away=(! Growing up I always loved when I was able to see my cousins and play so I'm happy he will have that too. Look how relaxed Ryden is as his cousins explored our house! How many people wish they could sleep so soundly with so much ruckus going on around them?!

Memories from month 1

A few memories from Ryden's first month:

• Sounds like a Terradactal when he cries
• Falls asleep quickly to white noise including fuzzy am stations on the radio
• Has blue eyes, blonde hair, long fingers and his daddy's chin
• Has hiccups often, just like he did when he was in my belly
• Farts louder than most adults
• Sleeps all day and is up every two hours at night
• Loves to be held and rocked
• Nicknames: LG "little guy", "T", and Benjamin Button

Boy Wonder

Introducing our boy wonder: Ryden Louis Sangalli born on 7/10/10 at 12:17am. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 inches long. We are so happy after 9 well really 10 months of anticipation he is here and our lives have already changed for the better!
