Pearly Whites

As if Ryden hadn't been through enough pain lately, to add insult to injury his two first teeth decided to break through the gums. Don't get me wrong this is very exciting, but horrible timing! I can't wait to see how these new additions will change the look of our little man but I will miss that gummy lil smile!

Size Matters Not

He may be small but our boy wonder proved he is one tough lil guy! After all the tests, pokes and prodes he went through he still managed to charm the doctors he came in contact with. I was to distraught in the hospital to even pick up the camera but Brian took these shots for documentation. We are so happy to find out today that his EEG results came back normal so we can move forward from this episode. Thank you everyone for your heartfelt words of support and prayers!

Yackity-Yak

With each passing day Ryden is becoming more vocal, which is awesome to hear his little voice. I'm sure there will be days when I won't have this excitement, for example when he gets to the "no" stage every child seems to go through. Yet today we are enjoying our little conversations and I hope you do too.

Cribbin it

So the day finally came when both Ryden and I were ready for him to be put in his crib. Luckily I can report it was a grand success for Ryden, I am still adjusting, although the second night was already easier than the first. He slept 12 hours his first night in his crib waking up only once to eat at 5am and slept till 8:30am. This is the image I was greeted by when I came to see him in the morning. Don't you love the sleepy eyes, but he still managed to show me his cute lil smile. Way to go Ryden!
