Sweet Six.

Well this kid is almost 7 1/2 months as I write this post so I thought I better get to it!  Seems like each day flies by quicker than the one the day before.  Always someone needs to have their diaper changed, helped wiped, needs to eat or stuff can always be cleaned.  I feel I am finding more of my grove though at this point having these two cute munckins.
Brennan finally graduated off the acid reflux medication!!!  This was a wonderful milestone.  Although he still spits up; he doesn't need a bib on 24/7 anymore!  He got his two bottom teeth the week he turned 6 months and teething doesn't seem to be bothering him as much as it did his older brother.  He has enjoyed any food I have tried with him & eats well.  He can roll but is most content just laying on the ground playing with his toys.  He is easy to make laugh or smile.  Doesn't mind anyone holding him.  Is now waking up about 2 times a night to feed.

Weight: 15 lbs 10.1 oz (17th percentile)
Height:  27" (72nd percentile)
HC:  43 cm (29th percentile)

We love you so much Brennie Boo.

Dozer Days

We had been anxiously awaiting this event for awhile.  R is really into construction vehicles these days and this is such a wonderful event put on by many local companies!  Although it rained again this year we had a great time!

Can you tell how excited I am to be here?

Doing what he loves; getting dirty!

Playing on the giant tires with daddy

I was shocked he wanted me to go on this with him instead of daddy; made me feel so good!

Garbage Day

Every Friday we are usually still in my bedroom with both boys snuggled into bed along with me.  Around 8 am we hear that familiar sound of the garbage man coming down the road.  At that moment R usually jumps out of bed in excitement and runs to our window to catch a glimpse of the garbage truck with its mechanical arm.  He watches in amazement as the robotic arm picks up the garbage can and shakes the garbage out then gently returns the can to the curb.
This week started what is supposed to be a warm spell.  I worry about having Lil Boo Bear out when it is so warm so I decided we should go on a morning walk and watch out for the garbage truck.  On our way to the "secret forest" (a place I set as a destination to make R really excited for our walk) we saw the garbage man pull into the neighborhood and R stood frozen watching one of his weekly highlights.
By the time we reached home the recycling truck was starting his rounds on our street.  R ran to the rock in our alley and quietly sat to watch it do his job.
This kid is 100 % boy.
